We were delighted to be back at this year’s Accounting Business Expo (ABE), held in the ICC, Sydney. The event is bigger and brighter each year and represents a real opportunity to learn from key influencers, mingle with like minded professionals and meet prospective new clients. As an exhibitor, and with so much to see and do, it was certainly a busy two days. We had plenty of highlights and memories to take home with us, here are five of them.
We recently jetted off to attend both QuickBooks Connect in Canada and Xerocon in Austin, making it another eventful week for the AutoEntry team. Like many organisations, our diary is jam packed with conferences throughout the year, both at home and away. And as a frequent exhibitor, we find these occasions extremely useful, in terms of meeting up with customers and by making valuable new connections. But as an attendee and with so much to do on the day, how can you make the most of your time?

Xerocon Melbourne has wrapped up for another year and we had a great time catching up with our partners down under. There was a record 3,000+ delegates in attendance, and the date also marked the official opening of our Australian HQ in the city, making it a particularly hectic time for us!
It was great to attend this year’s QuickBooks Connect in London’s Tobacco Docks. For many accountants and SMEs, QuickBooks has become ingrained at the very core of every working day. And simplifying business life and accelerating growth were themes explored over the course of the conference - through interactive workshops, networking sessions and presentations from business magnates and industry experts. For us, as an accredited QuickBooks add on partner, it was a time to catch up with customers and hear first hand from the QuickBooks community about the critical issues which matter to them - including the disruptive impact of technology in business.
