Our week in numbers

February 16, 2018

It has been another busy week for the AutoEntry team and it’s hard to believe so much has happened in just five days!

In that time, we’ve:

  • Attended 3 events, with our partners QuickBooks, Sage and MYOB
  • Visited 8 cities in 4 countries in 4 continents
  • Formed 1 exciting new partnership, with QuickBooks South Africa (more information coming soon!)
  • Run 100s of demos of our software to new prospects and contacts

As for the new friends we made and cups of coffee we drank - we couldn’t count those. But here are some of our highlights and favourite quotes from the week:

StartUp Grind. As a guest of QuickBooks, we attended this year’s Global Conference in San Francisco. With a jam-packed agenda and thousands of entrepreneurs and influencers present, this was something of a rockstar conference, celebrating tech innovation across the spectrum. We loved this quote from business guru Guy Kawasaki, “The best reason to start an organisation is to make meaning - to create a product or service that makes the world a better place.”

MYOB INCITE. Over in sunny Australia, our team travelled to Brisbane to exhibit in the first of a series of events with MYOB. As well as catching up with the team there, we attended the keynote from futurists, Dr Angus Hervey and Tane Hunter from FutureCrunch. In this, they commented that disruptive technologies in driving connectivity are helping to bring people together, which in turn is making the world more ‘peaceful’, ‘transparent’ and ‘abundant’. Cheers to that!

On the road with Sage. Closer to home, the first few stops on this year’s Sage Roadshows took us to Shrewsbury, Warrington and Loughborough. As ever, these events brought like-minded professionals together to collaborate and learn from each other. The purpose of the day was to help users grow their business, gain a competitive edge and better connect with customers through the right application of digital and cloud-based solutions.

So, here’s to the weekend, as we wind down and reflect on what we’ve learned. We exist to serve businesses through the power of automation and elimination of manual data entry. And as our customer base grows both at home and away, there are many more dates in the diary to look forward to.
