Xerocon Melbourne has wrapped up for another year and we had a great time catching up with our partners down under. There was a record 3,000+ delegates in attendance, and the date also marked the official opening of our Australian HQ in the city, making it a particularly hectic time for us!
Now the dust has settled, we’re looking forward to Xerocon London next week. So, here are some of the highlights we’ve marked in our diary for the day:
Keynote: How we help small businesses run the world
Keynote: The future of the accounting profession
Keynote: What’s new in Xero?
Held in London’s ExCeL centre, and as we remember from last year’s event, the Xero team will be pulling out all the stops to make it a date to remember. Since we serve more than 1,200 Xero practice partners, through which more than 6,000 businesses are set up on AutoEntry, it will be a time to catch up with some of these valued customers in person.
Our clients range from large consultancies and accounting firms such as Deloitte and PwC to boutique bookkeeping firms and SMEs, so it’s great to hear how our technology has helped this range of business to work smarter and achieve more. One size doesn’t fit all, and since every customer has its own objectives, we personalise our offering to fit their individual needs. This approach has certainly served us well, seeing as we’re a leading add-on for document capture of invoices, receipts, bank statements and other documents in the Xero app store, with our customers achieving remarkable time savings of up to 90% by partnering with us to eliminate manual data entry.
As a silver exhibitor, we’ll be exhibiting our software on both days which will give us ample time to run demos and showcase the strategic features AutoEntry offers, above and beyond what businesses might typically expect, or be accustomed to from other data entry solutions.
For instance, AutoEntry automates the capture of data from scanned and photographed images of almost any type of paper document including bank and credit card statements - as well as sales invoices, receipts, bills and more, automating data entry into Xero software. AutoEntry captures tax summaries by default and if requested, full line item details including description, quantity and unit price. AutoEntry also remembers how you categorise your expenses such as the relevant supplier account, nominal account and tax code without ever creating duplicate supplier accounts or posting duplicate invoices into Xero. AutoEntry even matches invoices to purchase orders. Despite this unique functionality, we offer fair and flexible pricing. We don’t tie users into costly fixed subscriptions and our customers only pay for the documents they upload onto AutoEntry, as needed month by month.
We’re sure this second Xerocon will be no less spectacular, and that these highlights are just a taste of what’s to come. So roll on next week, we can’t wait to see what it will have in store!
