Role Summary

The Project Manager will work with our development team and be accountable for initiating, setting direction, creating plans, defining and managing resources to deliver against the needed deliverables. The Project Manager will manage a range of concurrent projects and with a broad range of stakeholders, the project manager must be able to communicate, challenge and influence at all levels. The role holder will need to be able to deal with stakeholders in different geographical locations (e.g. EU, US and APAC) and tailor their approach based upon the audience.

Key Responsibilities Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership

  • Accountable for the end to end delivery of large and complex global projects within the portfolio
  • Leadership of project teams, ensuring delivery though these teams at the highest standards
  • Delivery of projects to time / cost / scope / quality in line with IT PMO defined methodology
  • Planning and tracking of multiple projects, including defining required resource and budget for delivery, and communication of progress through regular reporting
  • Identification and management of risks and issues to prevent or reduce impact on delivery within projects or through cross project / programme risks
  • Contractor and 3rd party supplier management within projects
  • Focus on delivery to meet benefits of the project
  • Lead project debriefs and implement improvements to build on lessons learned
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders’ expectations via Roadmaps, running Steering Committees and weekly reports
  • Conduct projects lifecycle from inception to closure influencing team members to deliver products at the highest standards
  • Manage projects to integrate products and services from partnering companies

Must Have

  • Demonstrable experience of delivering multiple concurrent and large-scale international projects, involving a range of technologies
  • Leadership of multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix and virtual environment
  • Ability to quickly build meaningful relationships, with strong influencing and negotiation skills, demonstrable at all levels within the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate and present to all levels
  • Ability to tailor styles and approach to suit audience and requirements while operating in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Enthusiastic with high levels of energy, self–motivation, resilience, drive and initiative.
  • Experience of delivering multiple concurrent projects involving different technologies with cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Understand and influence different aspects of multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix and virtual environment.

Technical experience / professional qualifications

  • Qualified in a structured PM discipline
  • Advanced MS Project and MS Office skills
  • Advanced reporting skills (e.g. Amazon Quicksight, PowerBI)
  • Experience with JIRA (or other Agile PM tools)
