As a bookkeeping practice, we're really pleased to have discovered AutoEntry. It's so flexible, being able to process both sales and purchase transactions and to also turn pdf bank statements into csv files that will integrate with Xero bank feed lines. It's particularly good being able to spread the credits across multiple companies.

AutoEntry makes data-entry a lot less onerous than before. As well as that, it does so with favourable pay-as-you-use pricing terms instead of an allowance which may go unused and does not carry over.

We have tried other software and found AutoEntry to be the most accurate and with a speedy process time. We are using it for bank transactions, multiple line invoices. We have upgraded to 500 credits within one month as we have found so many uses for it, removing the requirement to post manual entries.

Their system is easy to use and the uploaded files are processed a lot quicker than our previous service provider. Also their ability to deal with multiple invoice from different suppliers from one file upload has saved so much time!
Extraction of data is 9/10 very good, have occasionally needed to enter information that has not been converted accurately. it does take a bit longer than hoped to process the extraction, but I just load up my documents and let it run its processing which is done within an hour or two at most.

If you think of the labour hours saved in this, it is 100% worth it, and those saved hours can be focused on other things. We're rolling it out and using on all of our bookkeeping clients and are seeing time spent on jobs cut by at least half, if not more.
It is overall a good service with it able to recognise the bank without having to find it.

I love AutoEntry, it is great being able to have multiple companies and users under the same subscription. Also use receipt bank for a client but prefer the way this works and it is cheaper to. The app works well for small receipts too.
There are several alternatives that are quite good but each one seems to fall short in one respect or another apart from AutoEntry which scores highly for me in every respect - their system is very professional and I would highly recommend it as one of the best automated accounting document processing systems out there.
It is far more reliable being able to email documents in and know that all of your information is being captured in one place. Integration with accounting software is seamless and saves a lot of time

We switched to AutoEntry from the desktop based AutoRec and we have enjoyed the benefit of access from anywhere compared to only accessing from our office previously. In addition, the accuracy of the processed data is much better.
As an alternative to Receipt Bank then DocuRec is a very serious contender.
Clients have grasped it very quickly and the flexibility in the pricing structure compared to Receipt Bank makes it a no-brainer - AutoEntry all the way!! It also spots duplicates which Receipt Bank doesn't.

Easy way of recording documents onto quickbooks, kashflow etc
AutoEntry has tacked every thing i have sent its way from hand written receipts to screwed up faded ones, it accepts and converts foriegn currencies to GBP with out an issue. this software has increased my productivity no end and its a genuine pleasure to work with it. If you don't have this software and you an accountant, bookkeeper etc then you need to seriously take a look at it.
We have found AutoEntry to be a real asset to our own book-keeping, as well as being able to utilise it with clients. The pricing is simple and the features you receive vs the other market offerings make it competitive (like items and level of automation).
The ability to identify individual line items is a great tool, for those suppliers clients use for different purchase types.

Signing up to AutoEntry is one of the best decisions our office has made. It has taken the time consuming process of analysing client bank statements away from us to produce a csv file within a very short space of time. Its end product is error free and easily imported into Excel. Highly recommend.

We're new to AutoEntry but were surprised how good it was. We use SAGE 50 for our book-keeping and find the integration good. The other great feature is the ability to scan PDF bank statements. This makes like so much easier.

I have used Entryless, trialled Receipt Bank and now use AutoEntry. AutoEntry for me is the best solution, it has far more useful features, the integration with Xero & its purchase orders saves us flicking between tabs & pages etc.

We find this extremely useful software. The ability to analyse the bank transactions/credit card transactions in an easy to use format saves a lot of time, the service is quick and accurate.

Quick and easy to use. initially I was controlling the data entry but now several customers have there own login access and they are loving it. I am also impressed by how the software seems to be learning how to deal with specific suppliers and over time makes the workflow smoother.

Easy to use software that works exactly as described. I've just started using it and converted over 300 purchase invoices and five pages of bank statements with no errors! Customer service and support is fantastic too. Would highly recommend. We use it as an add on to Xero and it integrates perfectly. The credits rolling over for three months is a definite bonus too.
We use QuickBooks Online for the majority of our bookkeeping and AutoEntry helps enormously with processing bank statements and keeping track of electronic records. The pricing structure is the one of the best features working on a credit rather than client basis. Good customer service as well.

As a bookkeeping service, it's a great tool for us to streamline our processes and is constantly being improved. It is also one the few, if perhaps the only, auto recognition software we have come across that integrates easily with Sage 50, which is great for those clients who have not yet moved to the cloud.

I find it very useful, however if more information could be captured from the invoice it would be great, thing like items numbers and codes etc as this is what we use to check the rates we are paying are correct.

This year we have changed over from using Receipt Bank to AutoEntry and are very happy with the software, easy to use. Gone from 3 clients on RB to over 20 on AE within 3 months. Much more cost effective for a practice and pricing is appealing to the clients!
I have converted clients, who in the past, were sending me an envelope with their paper receipts and now the client uploads the receipts directly into AutoEntry
It is a brilliant time saving device, scanning the documents through before the end of the day and they are all ready to be analysed in the morning. Would highly recommend

We really like this app. As a bookkeeping practice it saves us a lot of time and effort on manual data entry. It is pretty reasonably priced too compared to similar apps. The fact that it will scan read and output a bank statement ready for upload to a client's accounting package is an added time saving bonus. It even coped when one of my staff put through 10 train tickets on one page scan and managed to sort them out into 10 separate transactions. Not much not to love about it really!

Our Bookkeeping practice has been using AutoEntry for quite a while now. We have saved a lot of time both in data entry and (not) travelling by clients scanning their paperwork in to the accounting system (Xero). We would certainly recommend the service.
AutoEntry is probably the best offering in the invoice reading marketplace. Not only does it offer the best pricing method for accountants with many client to spread the credits amongst, but I believe it's the only software that links to desktop Sage in addition to all of the cloud based bookkeeping packages.
